I love a beach photography shoot, and this one for Nikki and Anthony’s engagement at Seaham was so much fun. On a weekend that was riddled with storm and flood warnings, we were blessed with a dry afternoon and bizzarely-sunshine! Little Francesca was pretty unimpressed with having her photograph taken but was very pleased with ice cream after lots of paddling in the sea. It was such a pleasure to photograph this lovely, happy family, I am so looking forward to the wedding next year!

There is something so special about a wedding held at home, and Clare and Stephen’s day was no exception. The couple were married in the seaside town of Bamburgh at The Victoria Hotel followed by their reception at Stephen’s family home in Budle Bay. The whole day was so relaxed and fun, with Clare being one of the most chilled out brides ever! Even the wet weather didn’t put a dampener on the day and we managed to dash out for some very quick couple shots during a dry spell in the evening. My highlights of the day include the readings during the service, the awesome best man’s speech and the most original first dance I’ve seen – all the guests doing a conga line to Love Train!

Judges Hotel near Yarm in Cleveland is such a great venue for a wedding, the grounds are perfect for couple shots with so many little nooks and spaces for a variety of backdrops. Alex and Danielle where married in the picturesque St. Mary’s Church in Norton followed by their reception at Judges. Beautiful pastel pink flowers and bridesmaid dresses complimented the brides amazing dress perfectly. It was a picture perfect day that was such a pleasure to photograph!
