Hot Pink, Lace and lots of Bikes!

Lucy & Nick’s Hexham Winter Gardens Wedding

Lucy and Nick had the most beautiful wedding at one of my favourite venues, the Hexham Winter Gardens in Northumberland. Such a beautiful space with some much light.

I love weddings with lots of personal details and this day featured one of the couples main passions; bikes! I loved the bike bunting (if you look closely enough) and the bike wheel table plan, as well as the bike chain ring that Nick proposed with!

The day was so much fun and hardly felt like work at all! Here are the ‘best bits’…

A Year of Love

2019 has been a wonderful year with so many amazing weddings and absolutely lovely couples (you guys are the best!), there have been woodland weddings, rainy weddings, simple weddings and everything in between but one of the constants is how much love there has been and oh so much happiness. One of the things I realise by going back through the years photos is how much a love my job and wouldn’t want to do anything else, it has been an absolute pleasure and I can’t wait to start again soon for 2020.

Here are the best bits…

A Beautiful November Wedding at Newton Hall

Hugo & Lisa’s Newton Hall Wedding

Hugo and Lisa are one of those couples that you can just tell are perfect for one another, their wedding day at Newton Hall in Northumbria was so much fun it was a shame to leave after the first dance. I love all the colours that they used throughout that day and Lisa’s amazing shoes!

I ❤️ Autumn Weddings

Kayleigh & Will – Jesmond Dene House

We got our photos today. No idea how we are going to narrow them down for the album as there are so many beautiful photos! Alice has done an amazing job and we have loved reliving our wedding day all over again. Thank you so much! Love Mr and Mrs Howe xx

When I think of the perfect Autumn wedding I immediately think of Kayleigh and Will’s Day at the beautiful Jesmond Dene House. The light was so soft and hazy and the sun was low giving the most beautiful dreamy images. Add to this the lovely couple and an amazing set of guests and it really was the perfect day!

One of my favourite images is of Kay walking down the aisle with the sun streaming down on her, highlighting the dust particles like glitter, while her family watch her and Will’s family are all turned to see his reaction. This is one of the main reasons that I absolutely love natural light photography, the effects just can’t be reproduced and it is magical to capture.
