I was over the moon to get an email from the editor at Your North East Wedding to say that Vicky and Gary had been nominated for Wedding of the Year. Fingers crossed that they win, to vote just click here.
The couple were married last year at the Alnwick Gardens with a gorgeous garden theme. The pavilion was the perfect setting and I love the flower and watering can centrepieces with hand-carved place settings and the cake decorated with millions of edible flowers-all handmade by Vicky’s mum!
I was trilled when Living North chose Rosie and Andrew’s lovely summer wedding day to feature in their Spring 2016 Wedding issue, I always love seeing my photos in print!
Rosie and Andrews day sticks out for me because they were the most laid back couple ever! Even 5 month old baby Jonathan was super chilled out too. The highlight of the day for me, was the bridal party picnic in the ground of Durham School where the couple were married (and it was Rosie’s old school) and how long the couple were willing to spend having portrait photos done. As a photographer, it was lovely to take my time and have a walk around the whole venue with them.
My second feature on the wedding blog Rock my wedding was for the gorgeous Anna and Andy who were married at Newton Hall in Northumberland. Their day had a vintage feel with blush pinks, pearls and touches of lace details. Anna looked absolutely stunning in an off-white Ian Stuart wedding dress and matching chocker.
Such an amazing couple and it so lovely to see their day remembered forever on the blog! Just click on photo below for the full article.
I love seeing my photos in print, so I was really excited when Your North East Wedding Magazine asked to feature Amanda and Andy’s wedding day in their January 2016 issue. Their day at As You Like It in Jesmond was my last wedding of 2014, before I started my maternity leave and at seven and a half months pregnant I was very happy to get through the day and a bit sad to be finishing work for a while. Their wedding stands out as one of my favourites from 2014, the Michael Jackson flash mob performed by the bridal party was pretty memorable!
Thank you to the lovely Amanda and Andy for sharing your pictures and memories of the day. Here is the full article;
