Catherine and Paul were married back in August in Crook, County Durham at St Cuthbert’s Church followed by a reception at the Golf Club just down the road. It was a beautiful day and went so quickly for me, so I can only imagine how fast it went for the happy couple.
It is always fun when couples and the bridal party are happy to spend lots of time doing portrait style photos, it is lovely to have lots of time and try some different locations so that I can give them as much variety as possible in their finished photos. Combined with the gorgeous greenery at the golf club and plenty of time for photos, I was in heaven!
I spent the morning with the girls at Hair Haus in Crook with bacon butties and lots of hairspray, where I could tell it was going to be a fantastic day – the atmosphere was brilliant and they all emerged looking fabulous! Then it was back to the bride’s house for final touches and a bit of a breather before getting dressed and heading off to the church. Groom Paul turned out to be a very patient man, having had quite a long wait for his bride! I’m sure he would agree that it was worth it, as Catherine walked down the aisle looking utterly gorgeous in her embellished gown, crystal veil and peach flowers, perfectly complimented by the lovely pale green bridesmaid dresses.
I love the colour scheme for this wedding and the super cute flower girls. I hope you enjoy this selection of my favourite photos from the day…
