When I first met up with Jo and James I knew that their idea of an english country garden wedding would be right up my street! Jo, her bridesmaids and family all got ready in her family home-just a short walk from the church. The only issue being a busy road separating the two, the solution? The ushers stopping traffic with a ‘bride crossing’ sign! After one of the smiliest, happiest ceremonies, James drove his new wife to the reception at the fabulous Burnhopeside Hall near Durham. The house is stunning and the marquee was beautifully decorated in soft greens with lots of tea lights, with handmade bunting and a fabulous cake made by Jo’s mum. All the guests and bridal party were awesome and so much fun to be around, it really was an honour to be a part of this happy day!
I hope you enjoy this selection of my favourite shots from the day, the full set is on the portfolio website here.
